With "Back to Baroque", the Duo Kiasma creates a bold encounter between past and modernity, drawing inspiration from Bach to the Beatles. From the lyricism of a Villa-Lobos Cantilena to more rock-infused sounds, the program demonstrates how classical repertoire can reinvent itself and resonate with our times. Alongside Rameau, master of French opera, and Ennio Morricone, legendary film composer, stylistic boundaries dissolve into a surprising musical journey. Performed by Pierre Fontenelle and Frin Wolter, this concert is part of the music season of La Maison Noem, presented by MAKi asbl. It is a project that combines concert performance and musical transmission, in partnership with the Regional Music School of the City of Dudelange.
