Guided tour through the permanent exhibition – 2:30 pm - @Museum – Esch/Alzette
As soon as visitors enter the main hall, they discover the new exhibition, featuring printed texts, documents and objects in display cases, mechanical devices, audio recordings, films, projections, computer graphics and interactive screens. This variety of media offers something for everyone.
To complement the exhibition and give a voice to those who lived through this difficult period, audio testimonies accompany each panel of the historical exhibition, accessible via smartphone QR codes.
While the exhibition mainly takes a thematic approach, two timelines on the ground and first floors allow visitors to delve deeper into the story.
Short biographies introduce visitors to the men and women who were directly involved. The biographical niches in the main hall feature 28 historical figures and 16 current Luxembourg residents, recounting their lives as victims, civilians or participants.
