Flamenco for Adults: Beginner - Technique (Every Thursday)
Weekly Flamenco dance classes open to beginners.
Flamenco is a solo dance – no partner required. Sevillanas is usually danced in couples but can also be performed solo or in groups.
Difference between Technique and Choreography classes:
- Choreography classes: Each year, a specific rhythm is explored. Participants discover its style, choreographic structure, and cultural codes, preparing to dance with musicians.
- Technique classes: Maximum flexibility, open all year round, adapting to participants’ level. Each session focuses on a specific technical aspect: footwork, arms and hands, turns, body coordination, etc.
Weekend workshops are also organized with guest artists and special topics (compás, rhythm, improvisation, body expression, Sevillanas, and more).
