Flamenco for Adults: Beginner – Technique (Every Thursday)
Weekly Flamenco dance classes open to beginners.
Flamenco is a solo dance – no partner required. Sevillanas is usually danced in pairs but can also be performed solo or in groups.
Difference between Technique and Choreography classes:
Choreography classes: Each year, a specific rhythm (palo) is explored, focusing on its style, choreographic structure, and cultural codes to prepare participants to work with live musicians.
Technique classes: Designed for flexibility, adapting to participants’ level and covering technical aspects such as footwork, arms, hands, turns, and body coordination.
Weekend workshops are also organized with guest artists and special topics (compás, rhythm, improvisation, body expression, sevillanas, etc.).
