TASTE, meaning "Transforming through art, science and technology," is a new project initiated by the University of Luxembourg/Espace_Cultures. The second TASTE talk brings together researchers and artists to discuss the interconnection between art, science, and technology within their practices. At the boundary between lived experience and scientific experimentation, they explore how interdisciplinary approaches shape and expand our understanding and perception of bodies.
Guest speakers:
- Justine Blau – Visual artist
- Agnès Meyer-Brandis – New media artist
- Bruno Teheux – Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics
Moderator: Nathalie Kerschen, PhD
In 2024, the University of Luxembourg, in collaboration with Casino Luxembourg – Forum for Contemporary Art / Casino Display, welcomed its first artist-in-residence to engage with the scientific community. Such collaborations between artists and scientists aim to diversify perspectives, challenge established protocols, and foster innovation, while also raising important questions about the status and recognition of co-created artistic and scientific work.
