The exhibition brings together a body of work that reflects the evolution of an artistic approach shaped by the search for depth, texture, and emotion. The title, Where the Light Goes Quiet., reflects the unique universe of Monique Becker: a space where darkness does not simply absorb light but creates a zone of silence and introspection.
For the artist, darkness is never a void. "Black is not absence but presence," she asserts, summarizing the essence of her work.
