Shihomi is a Japanese artist who mainly paints guardian deities, such as dragons and phoenix birds, that represent Japanese spirituality. She performs live paintings in Japan and around the world. In about ten minutes, Shihomi spontaneously paints dragons. The ascending dragons she creates are said to bring miracles and good fortune to those who witness them. Through her live painting performances and dances, she expresses Japanese spirituality and the power of nature. The Samurai dance embodies the ichigo ichie spirit: living fully in the present moment. Shihomi aims to uplift and connect souls through her powerful experiences. In her talks, she discusses the "essence of life", and how the mind (spirit) shapes us and our lives, referencing her own experiences and Japanese spirituality.
