Use of Medicinal Plants: Skin
- workshop
- Nutrition
The skin is the largest organ in our body and serves as the primary barrier against infections from bacteria, viruses, or fungi. Specific plants can help relieve symptoms of rashes or sensitivities, such as to nickel, detergents, or nettles, via external application. Some skin problems, however, can be treated internally, for example by addressing diet, sleep, or stress.
