Initiated by TROIS C-L in 2015, Les Émergences is a program supporting contemporary choreographic creation. It showcases emerging choreographic talents in Luxembourg, notably through a series of public performances.
Top left wing (provisional title) – Djamila Polo
This creation reinvents the figure of the angel, poised between grace and awkwardness. Dance and poetry animate hybrid creatures, celestial and fragile. The costumes embody shifting figures, between heaven and earth. An ode to complexity.
DUNIYA – Serge Daniel Kaboré
DUNIYA (“world” in Mooré, a language spoken in Burkina Faso) explores the injustice of space and questions access to housing. Drawing on the artist's own experiences and testimonies, the piece gives form to invisible struggles: inadequate housing, displacement, and instability.
