In a dystopian Los Angeles, former police officer Rick Deckard is reactivated to hunt down and eliminate "replicants"—androids almost indistinguishable from humans who have rebelled and fled to Earth. During his hunt, Deckard meets Rachel, a replicant with implanted memories, and a complex relationship develops between them.
