French trio eat-girls expands to six performers to revisit their first album, released in November 2024 on German label Bureau B. "Area Silenzio" is a collection of ten electronic madrigals blending disco rhythms, post-punk bass, and synthesizers. Joined by drums, violin, wind instruments and small objects, the Sextet deconstructs eat-girls' music, emphasizing its minimalist approach, folk accents, and taste for repetition and harmony. While the form is new, the essence of the trio remains, with an invisible connection that forms when their three voices blend and part — the secret to music that is enigmatic, pop, and tender at its core.
Born from Brussels' creative scene, Paradoxant brings refreshing energy to alternative rock. Led by Antoine Meersseman (BRNS), this harmonious quartet skillfully uses vintage synths, guitars, and effects pedals, adding a playful touch of experimentation to their compositions. Paradoxant's soul resides in the bold fusion of powerful musicality and strong pop melodies, reminiscent of Crack Cloud, Suuns, and Liars.
