The exhibition "Myths don't lie" by Bérengère Wittamer takes visitors on a journey deep into our humanity, where ancient myths still speak to us and new ones are woven to address the future. Fascinated by the animal, plant, and human kingdoms, the artist uses her paintings to create a new mythology, imagining hybrid worlds with species adapted to live in harmony with the Earth. She explores themes of transformation, species mutation, war, and the condition of women, and imagines new archetypal, protective, and luminous figures. The artist's work is engaged and humanist.
