Hands-on workshop exploring raw earth construction techniques.

The Earth Laboratory explores different methods of earth construction using resources found in our region. During the workshop, participants will learn about the properties of local clay soils and how they can be used in house construction or other architectural or development projects. To improve their mechanical and thermal properties, the earth can be mixed with plant fibres, sand, or gravel depending on the chosen technique.

Initiated by Dkollektiv and Iwwerliewen asbl.
