The exhibition WOMEN IN WAR, specially conceived for the museum as part of the historical and artistic series Women in Conflict, offers a unique perspective on the various situations faced by women and children during wartime. This retrospective presents more than twenty years of work by American photojournalist Lynsey Addario. Through a selection of striking photographs, visitors are invited to discover regions affected by conflict such as Afghanistan, South Sudan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Ukraine. Main themes include the condition of women in wartime, motherhood in conflict zones, survival in crisis areas, dignity and resilience in the face of destruction, violence, and death. Admission to this temporary exhibition also includes access to the permanent collection.
