Literary Conference | American Investigation in Mérichamps by Philippe GRUSLIN
As part of the literary conference cycle organized by the communal libraries and toy library of Aubange, the next talk will focus on author Philippe GRUSLIN and his latest novel, combining history and a detective story.
Philippe Gruslin will give an audiovisual presentation of his book, retracing the genesis of the plot and its hero: an American detective of Belgian origin, set in the 1960s. Clips from TV series, films and songs from the era will be played to illustrate the atmosphere of that period. The author will also talk about Belgian life during World War II, a key event in the novel's storyline. Selected excerpts and short scenes performed by actors will introduce the main characters of the book.
The meeting will end with a Q&A session with the audience on the creation of the novel and the writing process.
