Benedetta Cocco’s artistic practice is rooted in the traditions of Sardinia, her home region. During her residency, she is developing her project “Social Weaving”, a collaborative sculpture created through participatory workshops. The weaving of fabrics and ropes is open to all, from children to adults, novices to artists. The work embraces the diversity of all participants. No previous experience in weaving or knitting is required.
