Word in progress (WIP) X De Gudde Wëllen
Inspired by the Parisian Work In Progress evenings, the concept behind Word in Progress (WIP) is to create a genuine exchange between the audience and the writer while offering a glimpse of a work in the making. Invited authors read, for ten minutes, an unpublished text that is still in the process of being written. Afterwards, the audience takes part by sharing their impressions and asking the author questions about their work in progress, guided by a "writer’s executioner" who steers and structures the discussion. For this special WIP evening, you will be able to listen to works in progress by Laureena Mardini, Robbie Martzen, and Humphrey Gudgeon. The discussion will be moderated by Frederic Braun and the evening will continue with a DJ set by Christophe Demart.
