Immerse yourself in Cuban culture during a unique weekend led by Gissel Ortiz, a dancer and teacher trained at the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Arte in Havana and dancer with the Conjunto Folklórico Nacional de Cuba.
Two special days to explore the richness, energy, and diversity of Cuban popular and traditional dances, in a warm and lively atmosphere.
Through her teaching methods combining rigor, generosity, and cultural transmission, Gissel shares much more than dance steps: she transmits the soul and history of Afro-Cuban and popular dances.

Program for Saturday, May 2nd:
- 11am – 1pm: Discover popular and traditional Cuban dances (e.g., mambo, pilón)
- 1pm – 2:30pm: Friendly break and shared meal (bring your own dishes)
- 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Salsa fusion workshop
- Question and answer session at the end of the internship
