Honk is a group of lively folks from Manchester ready to shake up your idea of country music. Their style? They call it “Trashcan Country”: a raucous, raw, and unfiltered take on traditional twang. It’s country music that’s been through punk backstreets, soaked with the gritty energy of garage rock, then left to dry in the sun. At the heart of Honk’s identity is their electrifying live show. This stage energy has seen them open for avant-garde groups like Meryl Streek, Delivery, and Being Dead, as well as earning regular support from Marc Riley on BBC 6 Music.
