World premiere: An anonymous voice chat. Four young people. Voices without faces. Unfiltered. What happens when the mask comes off? It's all just a game—until Stella's connection is brutally interrupted.
Four young people are playing. Until it gets serious, until it hits. And the heart. These young people are searching for something that moves them, that makes them feel alive. In anonymity, they hope to find their dreamed-up "romance."
@ano.astra47 is a play based on input and ideas from young people, staged by Liss Scholtes. The playwright-in-residence for the 25/26 season at TNL, Anja Di Bartolomeo, developed this story by carefully listening to young people. This is her third production at TNL, and this time, she incorporates participatory elements directly involving young people in the theater process.
