Renata van der Vyver started piano at age 6 before learning violin and viola. Her music career began in South Africa, then she studied in the United States (Bachelor’s in viola and baroque violin, Master’s in viola, baroque viola/viola d’amore, and a DMA in viola).
Carolina Valbuena received advanced diplomas in piano and chamber music at the conservatories of Bilbao and Madrid, then continued her studies with pianist Emmanuel Ferrer-Lalöe. She is a laureate of musical competitions in France and Brest.
