In a context of soaring demand, a growing global population, and the worsening effects of climate change, water has become one of the planet's most precious natural resources. Filmed in some twenty countries, the film reveals the mysterious and fascinating world of freshwater through spectacular aerial footage shot in remote and inaccessible regions. It also boldly contrasts Yann Arthus-Bertrand's renowned aerial vision with the harsh daily reality of those who lack access to water, sometimes dying from it, and who fight on the ground to obtain it.
