Discover textile arts. Beads and yarn, a dialogue from the heart to the hand
In this embroidery workshop, envisioned as an inner landscape, participants are invited to bring various materials into dialogue through their creative process. Using elements such as beads, yarn, rope, and even chains, they will work with a needle and embroidery techniques to create their own unique universe. Although this is a traditional craft, the workshop provides an opportunity to explore the contemporary relevance of hand gestures.
Louise Aimard is a hand embroidery artist. After obtaining a CAP diploma in 2015 followed by a BMA, she worked in renowned ateliers where she acquired the high standards of French craft. She is now based at the 1535 Creative Hub and aims to preserve the tradition of fine embroidery, while remaining open to new processes and experiments.
