The painter Riziko Fukao is a contemporary artist born in Japan. His work is characterized by abstraction influenced by Japanese tradition and a focus on texture. He has gained international recognition, with exhibitions in France (notably at the Tamenaga Gallery), Japan, and the United States. The artist works in oil painting, screen printing, and digital media. He notably created works for the Kodaiji Temple in Kyoto in 2009.
The sculptor Yoshin Ogata is a Japanese artist whose interest in water dates back to the early 1970s. His works highlight the symbolism of water as a witness to time and eternity. His expressive language continues to expand around this theme.
