Midi de l'Art: Screen Time(s)
The exhibition Screen Time(s) explores how contemporary digital environments – video games, generated images, immersive worlds, virtual realities – become spaces for reactivation, transformation, and the invention of symbolic narratives. Through these media, ancient mythical structures are replayed – figures of metamorphosis, origin stories, liminal states, relationships between humans and non-humans – reconfigured by current technologies and projected towards contemporary or future imaginaries.
The project examines how technologies such as real-time rendering, virtual reality, or algorithmic image generation transform our cultural imagination, reshape forms of subjectivity, and alter our ways of perceiving, believing, and experiencing reality over time. These technologies act not only on the immediate present but also embed experience within multiple temporalities where memory, anticipation, cultural heredity, and generational projections overlap.
