Transition Minett and the Esch-Uelzecht section of OGBL invite you to a panel discussion about the book "Temps de trajet" by Esch authors Jessica Lopes and Charl Vinz, examining the choice of transport modes in the context of social inequalities. The debate asks: is the choice between car, bike, public transport or walking truly a choice for everyone? Through illustrated excerpts from the book, Jessica Lopes and Charl Vinz will open the discussion, showing how commuting is shaped by constraints such as working hours, family responsibilities and housing situation. Ecological mobility and social justice issues will also be discussed, emphasizing that ecological transition cannot ignore social inequalities.
