Driven by the desire to foster dialogue between established and emerging artists, audiences, and institutions, and to encourage interdisciplinarity and new forms, the Théâtres de la Ville created TalentLAB, a project laboratory for performing arts creators.
Launched in 2016, this initiative has become an important event for contemporary stage creation and a key part of supporting both national and international artists. TalentLAB encourages experimentation, exchange, and transmission, with discovery, training, and dialogue at the forefront.
This year, 102 applications from 19 countries were received. Over 10 days, 6 project leaders and their teams will be accompanied by guest artists to experience TalentLAB and present the first results of their research in the form of 20-minute showcases.
