Aline Mayrisch-de Saint-Hubert (1874-1947), a Luxembourgish writer, feminist, and humanist, forged connections with the feminine avant-garde of her era. Her circle included writers, poets, intellectuals, and educators. Three literature specialists will discuss various facets of her life in short presentations: Germaine Goetzinger will talk about "The friendship between Aline Mayrisch and Gertrud Eysoldt", Vanessa Gemis will address "Silence and voicing in the poetry of Jean Dominique", and Catherine Gravet will focus on the relationships between "Aline Mayrisch, Marie Delcourt and Hélène Legros".
This event provides a new perspective on Aline Mayrisch's role in the women's movement at the beginning of the 20th century.
