An enfant terrible who refuses the codes of jazz, Daoud imagines a music carried by a feeling of inadequacy, disrupting conventions without the intent to please, and connecting both curious novices and purists alike.
The whole is permeated by the same tension: between playfulness and gravity, chaos and softness, irony and sincerity. With "ok," his new album to be released with ACT in 2025, he creates a personal manifesto marked by downfall and repetition — but also by the dedication required to start over again.
