In "BeComing," photographer and visual artist Tetiana Popyk, also known as Tanita, explores identity as a continuous process shaped by cultural systems and inherited female archetypes. Through photography, mixed media, and conceptual photo collage, the exhibition reflects on the construction of femininity through visual codes, memory, and social structures. The series moves from restrained black-and-white portraits subtly questioning gender norms, androgyny, and authority, to vibrant Mexican-inspired collages and reinterpreted ethnographic elements. Rather than illustrating identity, the works examine its architecture and how inherited narratives define women's roles and can be reconsidered. A QR code dedicated to each artwork allows access to a reflection and a musical composition accompanying the visual piece, creating a quiet dialogue between image and melody.
