Kurt Vile returns to den Atelier on 29 August 2026 with The Violators for a night of hazy hooks, loose-limbed guitar lines, and that beautifully unbothered energy only he seems able to bottle. Back in 2019, he already left his mark on the venue. Now he’s coming back with a new chapter.
His latest album, Philadelphia’s been good to me, is billed as a love letter to his hometown and a record he describes as his “best vocal record,” “best electric guitar record,” and “most organic record,” made in the comfort of his own zone. Largely self-produced, it leans into the warmth, shimmer, and laid-back depth that have made Vile one of the most distinctive songwriters of his generation.
