Chunky Move
- performance
- dance
Do not let the purported minimalistic aesthetics fool you: what Anthony Hamilton and his trailblazing dance powerhouse, Chunky Move, have in store is everything but simple. Technically, 4/4 is deemed the most complex and challenging work of choreography any of the eight dancers have ever performed. Visually and sensorially, it is spectacular and spellbinding. Building on the multi award-winning Hamilton-Macindoe duet piece Meeting, this mesmerising new production not only multiplies its composition but also the difficulty of the sophisticated counting system used to organise every facet of the choreography. An elaborate tapestry of seamless movement, sound, and design, 4/4 meticulously blurs the boundaries between performer and environment, leaving an indelible mark on both the stage and the psyche.
Bon à savoir
