In this workshop, participants will create short animated sequences and animated GIFs using stop-motion techniques. The starting point is images, which are transformed into unique visual worlds and new visual contexts through cutting, combining, and rearranging.

Using the cut-out technique, sequences of images are created in which figures and objects change, shift, or dissolve. Surprising transformations and unusual compositions emerge: meanings shift, forms change, and movement opens up new interpretations.

The workshop is conceived as an experimental space for working with, thinking through, and playing with visual material. Participants experience how minimal shifts and temporal sequences can create independent narratives and visual dynamics.
