Reckange-sur-Mess invites you to the 5th edition of Merlettëfest, a festive, inclusive, and vibrant weekend in the heart of the town. For three days, live music, cultural discoveries, international cuisine, and activities for all ages will transform the square in front of the municipal workshop into a true hub for meeting and sharing.

Friday, May 8 – AFTERWORK: music & good times
The Merlettëfest starts at the end of the day with a festive after-work event combining live concerts and moments of reunion.
On stage:
22:00 - Given2Fly (ALL) – a Pearl Jam tribute band, they revisit grunge classics with intensity and authenticity
8:30 PM - Superdrive (LU) – powerful and melodic alternative rock with modern sounds
6:30 PM - Soul Funk Factory (FRA) – irresistible groove blending funk, soul and dance rhythms
4:30 PM - BAMMS by Maison Relais – a dynamic and creative performance by the young talents of Maison Relais
The municipality is honoring its local talents at the Sports Merit Ceremony, where the best athletes from Reckange in 2025 will be rewarded.
On the food side, the drinks stand is run by Reckenger Musek, while the barbecue is offered by Fiederball Reckeng.
A friendly evening to kick off the weekend, with music, meeting new people and a relaxed atmosphere.
Saturday, May 9 – MESSTIVAL: urban cultures, diversity and creativity
The Messtival returns for an even richer and more committed edition, transforming Reckange-sur-Mess into a platform for artistic and cultural encounters.
On stage:
Maz Univerze – a key figure in the Luxembourg urban music scene, he blends rap, metal, emo, stage energy and a strong visual universe to deliver powerful and unifying performances.
De Läb – an emblematic Luxembourgish hip-hop group, blending humorous lyrics with committed social commentary
Mutiny On The Bounty – intense instrumental post-rock, acclaimed far beyond borders
Versus You – energetic and uncompromising pop-punk, a pillar of the alternative scene
Morfaz – a DJ with dynamic, geeky, and immersive sets, he seamlessly blends urban and electronic sounds to build the atmosphere and get the crowd going.
Marcy – a modern, sensitive, and captivating pop universe
Blame Emeraude – a project with alternative sounds between pop and electro
The Rot – an artist from Reckange with raw energy and rock influences

The Messtival is a family-friendly and accessible festival, where everyone can find their place.
A free shuttle will run throughout the town during the day to facilitate access to the site.
Sunday, May 10 – MULTIKULTI: Flavors and Cultures of the World
The MultiKulti day celebrates cultural diversity through gastronomy, music and encounters.
Residents of Reckange-sur-Mess and the surrounding area will offer culinary specialties from their countries of origin, providing a true gastronomic journey through different cultures:
• Belgium – fries, waffles, beer
• Brazil – coxinhas, pão de queijo, caipirinha
• Cameroon – decorations, gifts, clothing, jewelry
• United States – brownies, cinnamon buns, cupcakes
• Greece – dolma, souvlaki, gemista, brizoles
• Hungary – gulyás, dumplings
• Iraq – biryani, warak enab, sasekis, humus, baklava
• Northern Iraq (Assyrian specialties) – lahmacun, tabbouleh, zalabiya, burrak, baklava

Reckenger Musek & Welleschter Musek – aperitif-concert by two traditional brass bands with a festive and popular repertoire
The Nerds (BEL) – a festive band with quirky and humorous cover songs
Dos Aguilas (ALL) – Mariachi group with authentic Mexican sounds and a warm atmosphere
Luma – Luxembourg Marching Band (LUX) – a modern and spectacular brass band blending music, choreography, movement, and collective energy
