Sundays of Gregorian Chant at the Abbey of Clervaux. Benedictine monks express their contemplative community prayer mainly through Gregorian chant, a precious heritage of Western sacred art. Gregorian melodies give access to the mystery of the liturgy. The schola, under the direction of Dom Jacques Prudhomme, contributes to the quality of the most demanding pieces. Dom Jacques Prudhomme discovered Gregorian chant at the Abbey of Solesmes (France) under Dom Joseph Gajard and perfected it with Dom Jean Claire, both renowned choir masters in this famous monastery. The concert will take place at the Abbey of Clervaux.
