LEAPA presents this creative, practical workshop explores body language through the tools of acting and improvisational theatre. Using simple exercises, games and scene work, participants will learn how the body communicates intention, emotion and status, often before a single word is spoken.
The workshop is open to everyone, whether you have no theatre experience at all or already have experience in acting or improv. Activities are accessible, playful and adaptable, allowing beginners to build confidence while giving more experienced performers space to dig deeper.
Participants will develop greater self-awareness of their own body language, learn how to observe and read the physical signals of others, and explore how small physical choices can change the message we send. These skills are directly transferable to both personal and professional life, from social situations and relationships to work, meetings and everyday communication.
Expect a supportive, creative environment focused on curiosity, clarity and practical takeaways, not performance or “doing it right”.
