UA Days 2026 opens with a limited avant-premiere screening of the documentary "Underground Garden" directed by Yulian Ulybin, about Aza Nizi Maza, an art studio founded in Kharkiv. The film centers on children who continue to draw, imagine and create while living under constant shelling. Through their voices, the audience experiences their daily reality — a world where creativity stands against danger, fear, and disruption. Aza Nizi Maza brings together children and teenagers working collectively on large-scale artistic projects, including an important work created in 2022 in the Kharkiv metro while families were sheltering during shelling. The evening starts with an opening, followed by a live online connection with the children in Kharkiv, and then the film screening.
