Lucie receives a mysterious box inherited from her great-uncle Louis. Inside are personal memories and fragments of family history, mixed with key events from History, notably the Compulsory Work Service during World War II. This journey between past and present explores family secrets, unspoken things, and questions of heritage. Through the lives of her ancestors, Lucie discovers a legacy that is as moving as it is touching and humorous.
