Hamlet by William Shakespeare, performed by Stefano Bernardin (Austria). Play in German language. Duration: 90 minutes.

Everyone knows Shakespeare’s prince with the skull in his hand and the famous line “To be or not to be.” But who is Hamlet really? What does he want? And who is stopping him? In this show, Hamlet and all his opponents are portrayed by a single actor. Does one actor play all the roles? Or is it a Hamlet who plays everything? That’s the question.

Hubsi Kramar and Stefano Bernardin condensed "Hamlet" into a one-man show without betraying Shakespeare. The 400-year-old work remains as relevant as ever. “There is something rotten in the state of Denmark”… and Denmark is everywhere. The evening begins with Hamlet's death in a fencing duel. In his mind, his life passes by.
