Microbiota and environment: reciprocal relationships.
Marc-André Selosse is a French biologist, professor at the National Museum of Natural History, and a renowned specialist in soil microbiology, fungi, and symbioses between living organisms. His work focuses in particular on mycorrhizae, associations between fungi and plant roots, and more broadly on the invisible interactions that structure ecosystems.
A university-trained researcher in biology and ecology, he has spent many years conducting research on the role of microorganisms in plant nutrition, soil fertility, and forest function. Alongside his scientific work, he is a renowned science communicator, author of several books for the general public, and a regular guest at conferences, media outlets, and educational events.
