In Firmamento, Marcos Morau and La Veronal, last seen at Grand Théâtre in 2021 with Sonoma, conjure a mesmerizing visual spectacle exploring the transition from childhood to adolescence – a time of transformation, contradiction, and raw intensity. Six dancers inhabit a retro-futuristic universe populated by strange machines and extravagant puppets, their precise movements creating a world of endless possibilities. Juan Cristóbal Saavedra's soundscape blends traditional instruments with electronic music, incorporating transformed versions of works by Wagner, Strauss, Bowie, Anderson, and more. This choreographic spectacle sits at the crossroads of dance, cinema, and theatre, drawing inspiration from, among others, Giotto's angels in the Scrovegni Chapel.
