For over 40 years, the eight members of the Scharoun Ensemble, from the prestigious Berliner Philharmoniker, have presented a repertoire blending classical tradition and contemporary gems on the international stage. In this concert, two serenade-like masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert are complemented by a more discreet composition by the modernist German composer Hans Werner Henze.
