Maya, a young Mexican woman, arrives illegally in the United States, where her older sister already lives. She rebels against the exploitation of undocumented immigrants and joins demonstrations organized by the union, leading to both collective and personal consequences. This film sheds light on the plight of undocumented migrants facing humiliation, fear, and violence, while also reflecting their hopes and determination through union action. It can serve as a starting point for discussion on illegal immigration, a universal theme.
