To mark Diversity Day 2026 in Luxembourg, the Centre for Documentation on Human Migration (CDMH) invites you to discover its specialized migration library. A true reflection of the diversity of migratory journeys and perspectives on them, this library is a space for knowledge and memory. Accessible to everyone – researchers, students, and the general public – this library testifies to the ongoing commitment of the Centre's founders, as well as the invaluable work of the librarians, archivists, interns, and volunteers who, over the years, have contributed to its development.

As a signatory of the Luxembourg Diversity Charter, the CDMH has been actively committed for many years to promoting diversity in all its forms and working on migrations involves recognizing and valuing the plurality of experiences and human trajectories that make up our societies.

On this occasion, a round table will bring together key figures from various specialized libraries in Luxembourg, as well as our long-standing partners. The libraries will be presented, and discussions will focus on the role of specialized libraries in diversity issues, their missions and challenges, their geographical reach and target audiences, as well as the place of the book in our societies, while also opening up other avenues for reflection.
