Group exhibition with: Ghas Attack, Zahira Attou, Mitch Fuse, FØrtifem, Michaela Knizova, Kim the Butcher, Zohra Mrad, Nuke, Alexandra Uppman, Nadia Zarrougui

Music scenes are not limited to mere musical creation. They are a space for encounter, inspiration, and the release of tension. They exist through the support of their communities, a vast network of actors, from musicians and their supporters to participants at the events. All share a common quality: their constant presence, reflected in unwavering support. The need for a space free from economic imperatives and the social norms stemming from them motivates the DIY (Do It Yourself) approach in building, organizing, and sustaining these scenes.

Musical genres can be identified through their album covers, concert posters, videos, and related products. This exhibition was born from the desire to share and honor the work of visual artists who actively shape extreme musical scenes. It’s an opportunity to see and understand through their eyes and ears. By inviting them to exhibit their works, the artists share their vision of the ecosystems in which they evolve.

Reflecting on the encounters made throughout her migratory journey, Zohra Mrad establishes links between different artists and their practices, ranging from abstract and poetic expressions to explicit messages, including noise, drone, ambient, punk hardcore and metal.

Concerts from 7:00 p.m.:
Cigvə (Poisonous drone - FR): Catherine Guesde is a French experimental musician exploring different facets of drone guitar, focusing on the dissolution of musical forms and the emergence of sonic ghosts. Her solo work, under the name Cigvə, blends outsider folk, drone, and noise, and has been released on various European labels.

Trigger Object (Experimental electronics, danceable noise - USA): Vern Avola is a composer and multimedia artist based in Portland, Oregon. She is currently releasing tracks as Trigger Object. Her work combines punchy rhythms, screaming electronics and multilayered soundscapes described as 'fractured, distorted, and beautifully deranged'.
