Billie Marten likes to leave her mark on a good book, highlighting important passages, jotting down ideas in the margins, folding the corners of pages to mark her place. The 10 songs on "Dog Eared" fulfill this function, telling the story of who she was during the writing and recording process, separating her adolescence from her adulthood to move forward. Musician Hannah Ida was sixteen when she acquired an old guitar at a flea market. This instrument allowed her to discover her own voice and the joy of writing. Since then, the young musician has experimented relentlessly, inviting listeners to delve into dreamlike thoughts and worlds. Music that allows one to dream, and she considers this a necessity... Emily Grogan is a 19-year-old Luxembourgish singer-songwriter whose music is inspired by artists such as Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and Madison Cunningham.
