Created in 2019, VROUW! is a group from the Berlin avant-garde queer music and performance scene, composed of five women from different countries and artistic backgrounds. The ensemble is dedicated to creating experimental and improvised music. Their sound is based on the use of amplified objects, attentive listening, and a strong presence of voices and multiple languages. Some of the objects used by the musicians are handmade, including their iconic microphone-hats. Their latest record, "VOS," was released in 2025 by the Rheinschallplatten label, based in Munich and Cologne.
