Villa Plage: Stories Outdoors

As part of the “Villa Plage” summer programme, the Lëtzebuerg City Bibliothèque is organising readings in the park of Villa Vauban. From June to September, they will take place regularly, always from 10:30 to 11:30. The readings, followed by a creative activity, are suitable for different age groups: Tuffi-Junior (for children aged 4 to 6) and Tuffi-Pro (aged 6 to 10). Everyone will find something to enjoy. Come and discover fascinating stories! A new teacher is very nervous before her first day at school. She falls asleep very late the night before, so she does not hear her alarm in the morning, and when she wakes up, it is already almost 8 o’clock. Quickly, she sets off by bicycle to work. The second story is also about the start of a new school year, with a new pupil joining the class. As the children enter their new classroom, they see a girl they have never seen before. The children introduce themselves one by one and are very curious to get to know their new classmate: “What’s your name, where are you from?” She replies: “My name is Amina and I come from Syria...”
