"Unless I’m Mistaken," is the year-end exhibition of the post-master fellows at Casino Display. The Artistic Research Lab is a European post-master program in collective artistic research, supervised by a consortium formed by Casino Display and Casino Luxembourg – Forum d’Art Contemporain (Luxembourg), École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre (La Cambre, Brussels, Belgium), Haute École des Arts du Rhin (HEAR, Strasbourg/Mulhouse, France), Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten (KABK, The Hague, Netherlands), and École Nationale Supérieure d’Art et de Design de Nancy (Ensad Nancy, France).
"Unless I’m Mistaken," evokes a certain ambiguity. There is the question of movement, the movement from one language to another, but also geographical movement: how things move, what we take with us, what we leave behind, what folds in or remains, or the things we refuse to value. Once the displacement is accomplished, something persists, always in the background: a residue that resists moving to the other side or discreetly subsists: a meaning, a right, a trace.
