In this conference presented by Nicolas Arendt and Zoé Konsbruck (C2DH), the journey of blast furnace 'C' is revisited. It was closed in 1995 after a major technical incident at the Belval site, then sold to China, where it remained operational until 2024. Followed by a discussion with Ed Maroldt and Guy Bock. Organized by the University of Luxembourg and the Department of Historical and Industrial Heritage of the City of Esch-sur-Alzette.
